Almost every client opportunity begins with the start of a relationship. Devising and successfully executing the right strategy (for you) to start the right relationships is vital to your success. You can do it by:

  • Attracting people to you, e.g., by becoming know as an expert through speaking and writing

  • Reach out to people by contacting them or putting yourself in situations where you will meet people in your target market

  • Developing and nurturing a network of allies who will help you start relationships (as you also help them)
